I recently visited “Haisch’s Bakery” and ordered a custom Birthday cake for Halloween. I was impressed with Michelle's exceptional customer service skills. She was very friendly and helpful in assisting me with my order. Her knowledge of the bakery’s products and services was impressive, and she went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great experience. The custom birthday cake she recommended was delicious and beautifully decorated!! I highly recommended Haisch’s Bakery in South Plainfield, NJ.

This was my first time at this establishment. I noticed how clean it was and Michele was very welcoming. I only stopped it as I happened to see it while leaving Quick Chek next door, I decided to pick up some bagels and a croissant. Michele also gave me a sample of the Rugelach to try. I definitely do plan to order a cake or pastries from here in the near future for any upcoming events or milestone. I will update my review then. By the way, the plain and cinnamon bagels, croissant and rugelach were a hit. Fresh as they are baked daily.

My family has purchased birthday cakes from Haisch's Bakery for over 20 years. So disappointed in the cake recently purchased. When I brought the cake home, it was an 8" cake but it looked much smaller than usual; previously purchased a b-day cake in May. We finally realized that the cake was much shorter. It was as though the cake layers were almost cut in half. The height of the cake, minus the decorative piping around the top of the cake, was only 3 inches. For $49.95, you certainly expect to get a decent size cake. Be aware that the cake layers are significantly shorter. Certainly feel cheated. This is the last Birthday cake we purchase from Haisch's. There are too many other comparable bakeries that don't short the cake layers. If this is done to Birthday cakes, they ae likely doing it to their other cakes.

I asked for a custom cake and I was really impressed with the outcome. They added glitter in the frosting to make it pop and I’m glad they took their time to make it perfect. Everyone loved how it looked and taste. Thank you very much !

Good customer service. Birthday and special occasions cakes are the highlight here. If the donuts are fresh, those are really good as well. Sourdough bread is also worth the purchase. Also the Coconut Danish Ring is always a winner. These things I mentioned are definitely worth the little bit more you will spend than the supermarket ect. I'm not sure about the rest because I usually only get these things there on a regular basis.

They have an amazing amount of variety, and the lady helping me was extremely friendly. That said, I don't know if it was timing, but the 3 items we got just seemed slightly stale. They didn't have that fresh bakery taste you would expect. The red velvet cupcake was kinda hard. The chocolate mousse was good. The German chocolate cake was a little dry or stale. We have had the food from here before and we're satisfied previously, so it's possible we caught them on am off day. Will try them again at a different time and hope that this was just a one time anomaly.

OMG, it was good to be back in Jersey last week. We went to Haisch's twice while I was there and got the small strawberry cheesecake, a slice of the chocolate mouse cake, assorted cookies, a few cupcakes, and not to forget the raspberry rugelach. It did not disappoint!
